Wyndham Championship odds Shane Lowry is betting favorite for regular-season finale

This week’s Wyndham Championship marks the conclusion of the PGA Tour’s regular season, and according to BetMGM’s Wyndham Championship betting odds, former Open Championship victor Shane Lowry is the favourite. What you should know is as follows.

A Wyndham 2022 odds for the championship: this week’s favourites

The FedEx Cup Playoffs begin in Tennessee the following week, but before that, we have one final tournament to decide in North Carolina. Lowry is the oddsmakers’ favourite to win at +1400 because many of the best athletes are taking the week off. However, a number of competitors are right behind them and have excellent shots this week.

Will Zalatoris, the 14th-ranked player in the world, is one of them. Despite not having a win, Zalatoris has had a fantastic year. He entered the Wyndham with odds of +1600 to win after placing T20 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week.

Billy Horschel (+2000), who placed T21 at the Open Championship in St. Andrews and won the Memorial in June, is not far behind.

However, Taylor Pendrith (+3300) is your man if you’re looking to put your money in the hands of a hot hand who will provide you with exceptional value. Last week, Pendrith came close to winning the Rocket Mortgage. Prior to the final round, he and Tony Finau were tied for the lead. However, a score of even par caused him to finish in second place, five strokes behind Finau.

Wyndham Championship odds for 2022: this week’s long shot

Sam Ryder wins the prize for long shot this week. Ryder has made and missed 14 cuts this year, for a 50/50 split. But he has five top-25 finishes and three top-10 finishes this year.

The 32-year-old Korn Ferry Tour alumnus had some significant signs of life last week in Detroit. He ended T24 at 11 under, but he would have been in contention on Sunday had it not been for a third-round 72.

With many of the top players sitting out this week’s tournament and Ryder’s odds to win lying at +15000, it’s the ideal scenario for the winless pro to finally break through. If you stake $10 on him and he succeeds, you’ll win $1,500.
